🌟 Exciting News – Another Successful STEM Festival – Yesterday at Kilmardinny House, Bearsden! 🌟
Partnership working was at the heart of our success at the Primary 7 STEM Festival Transition Event. DYW LED and East Dunbartonshire Council Primary STEM Development Officer (PSDO) Michaela Dickson were delighted to bring this opportunity to schools.
Yesterday 450 enthusiastic pupils from primary schools across Bearsden and Milngavie participated in a variety of practical, hands-on #STEM activities. The event was a fantastic collaboration with numerous STEM-associated employers, STEM Ambassadors, University STEM Outreach and Secondary School Young STEM Leaders. Their dedication and passion for STEM truly inspired the young learners!
Throughout the day, the students engaged in various interactive activities, sparking their curiosity and interest in #STEM subjects and the sheer variety of what STEM can look like in industry. This festival provided a unique opportunity for these future high school students to explore the exciting world of STEM and envision their potential in these fields, as well as spark connections with primary school teachers to sustain partnerships with industry going forward.
