DYW worked with a host of employers to support the school careers event. COB Futures, a Learning for Sustainability event was held on Monday 13 May 2024.The event at the flagship SWG3 venue was the host for schools from 10am – 1pm SWG3 and the venue used to host 250 young people. Each school from our region could join with 10-20 pupils.
The event was hosted by Anna Devitt, and we secured Ally Mitchells from Ocean Pots and Anna Campbell Jones as main guest speakers on the day. This event was designed to support learners to choose career paths that support a sustainable future and was lots of fun for all involved with the interactive elements.
