Holy Cross High School, Hamilton, is holding a Careers Workshop Event to help prepare our young people for their future in partnership with DYW LED . ✅
We are inviting all local and national employers to attend the workshop event and have the opportunity to inspire the next generation of your future workforce. The event will run from 9am to 12.30pm on the 9th of January 2025, and consist of 5x20min workshops on your industry. 📅
The event is targeted at all pupils from the S2 year group, to inspire future pathways and subject choices, as the young people will be about to make their option choices early in the new year for moving into S3. ✅
There will be a maximum of 20 pupils in a group, and we are looking for information on your specialist career area, what you do on a day-day basis, as well as any other experiences and pathways into your career that you may be able to share with the groups. Any advice on which subjects pupils should be studying at school would help and we would welcome any interactive demonstrations that brings your job to life, to encourage our pupils to ask questions.✅
